Summary: Great softcover textbook
Comment: We used this for our 2nd and 3rd semester Industrial Electrician Apprentice course. Its a very good book, slightly more for the construction trades possibly. Not many errors at all. I got a few wrong in all the tests I'd taken because of studying the chapters instead of the actual 2005 Code.

There are 2 sections with 15-30 questions or so at the end of every chapter. One we did for homework, the other was a test. The two dont have any similar answers or questions, so it was quite difficult without referring to the codebook unless you really knew the material.

I'd recommend this for anyone that isn't a complete noobie in the electrical field. It makes a perfect textbook, far better than Mike Holt series; Holt seems to use his books to make fun of things in the code, but tries to explain WHY it shouldn't be needed...but thats a poor teaching method...telling a student to NOT learn "x" and dont remember "x". This book doesnt do much of that.

Nice glossy color pages, some typos on the tests but no big deal.
