Need help in passing the apprentice, journeyman, or master electrician's exam? This is a book of questions and answers based on actual electrician's exams over the last few years. Almost a thousand multiple-choice questions -- exactly the type you'll find on the exam -- cover every area of electrical installation: electrical drawings, services and systems, transformers, capacitors, distribution equipment, branch circuits, feeders, calculations, measuring and testing, and more. It gives you the correct answer, an explanation, and where to find it in the latest NEC. Also tells how to apply for the test, how best to study, and what to expect on examination day. Includes a FREE CD-ROM with all the questions in the book in interactive test-yourself software that makes studying for the exam almost fun! Updated to the 2005 NEC.

Customer Rating: Summary: Worthless Comment: I took my journeyman's test in 2007 and studied using this book. Only one of the questions on the test was covered in this book. There are only at most 4 questions per page, so this big 350 page book could easily be crammed into a much smaller book. If you really need a study guide to help you, get Mike Holt's test prep book. It is much much better.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excelent Review Material Comment: Correlates very well to the NEC and highlights the main points. Very well written and packed with useful details. Every question references the NEC section that gives the answer.
Of the books available for study this one was 10000X more valuable than the AUDEL books by Paul Rosenberg.
Highly recommended.
Customer Rating: Summary: I passed my TN LLE thanks to this book. Comment: I paid extra $$ for the highlighted & tabbed NEC 2005 & OSHA books to help pass the TN LLE (Limited Lic Electrician) exam. However, the research required to answer the questions in this book was better preparation than the highlighted & tabbed code book. I passed my exam on the first try.
Customer Rating: Summary: Changes not made for 2008 Electrical Code Comment: The guide is pretty good, except there are a few places where the answers do not line up with the new 2008 manual. No wrong answers - just missing parts that are referred to in the questions.
Customer Rating: Summary: Elect. Exam prep guide Comment: This is exactly what I was looking for. Step by step through the calculations. It should go far in preparing me for the Master Electrician Exam that I plan to take before year end.
