The CFLs I had in the pendants were too long and hung out the bottom - just looked crappy. So I ordered these 'mini' lamps. Ha! Shame on me for believing 'mini' meant smaller. Not quite sure what Globe considers "mini" but these things are huge. They hung out of the pendant light further than the originals. I'll keep them because I can use them for some other fixtures. I ended up buying CFLs at Target - I think they're GE - much shorter and the pendants look much better.
